ARKRAY Privacy Policy

ARKRAY Inc. and its related group companies (ARKRAY Marketing, ARKRAY Global Business, ARKRAY Factory, ARKRAY Infinity, Karada Lab, ARKRAY Nagasaki Development Center, Universal Healthcare: hereinafter referred to as "the Group") have established the following privacy policy and built a mechanism for protecting personal information. To gain and maintain the trust of business partners, employees (including retirees), and other stakeholders, we will strive to protect personal information by making all employees aware of the importance of personal information protection and thoroughly implementing measures under the following basic policy.

What is Personal Information?

"Personal Information" refers to information that can identify a specific individual as defined by the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information," such as an individual's name, age, date of birth, telephone number, email address, residential address, workplace, bank account number, information about products or services purchased by an individual, inquiry information, and personal identification codes.

Basic Policy for Personal Information Protection Management

Collection, acquisition, use, and provision of personal information will be carried out appropriately.

We will strive to keep personal data accurate and up-to-date.

We will take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, leakage, destruction, or damage of personal data and to ensure proper management of personal data.

We will comply with laws and guidelines related to personal information, as well as internal regulations.

When outsourcing the handling of personal data, we will only entrust it to contractors who meet the requirements based on the Group's regulations and will manage such outsourcing appropriately.

We will continuously strive to improve the protection of personal information.

Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The following personal information provided will be used for the following purposes in business activities (manufacturing and dealer services of medical devices, healthcare IT, etc., creation and sales of software, provision of various services using the internet, etc.) based on laws and the Group's internal standards. We will also explain in advance whether there will be provision or outsourcing, and how to make inquiries.

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Group will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from the individual. However, please note that in accordance with Article 23, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act, we may provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from the individual in the following cases. Even in these cases, the Group will require such recipients to process personal information in a manner consistent with the terms and conditions of individual services and the Group's personal information handling standards, and supervise them.

Requests for Disclosure, etc. of Personal Information

Requests for "notification of purpose of use," "disclosure," "correction, addition or deletion," "suspension of use," "erasure," or "suspension of third-party provision" of personal information provided to the Group will be accepted by sending a request form (PDF) with the required information filled in, along with documents confirming the identity of the individual or their representative, to the "Contact Information" below, and we will respond promptly.

The personal information subject to requests is limited to personal information that constitutes (1) a collection of information systematically arranged so that it can be searched using a computer, or (2) a collection of information systematically arranged so that specific personal information can be easily searched by arranging, classifying, and attaching a table of contents, index, code, etc. according to certain rules, and for which the Group has the authority to respond to all requests from the individual for disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension of use, erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties (personal information subject to disclosure).

Regarding the Use of Analysis Tools

The Group uses analysis tools such as Google Analytics to understand customers' usage across multiple Group sites and improve customer convenience through site statistics and other analyses. These analysis tools use cookies to collect logs that do not include information identifying specific individuals. Logs collected through the use of Google Analytics are managed in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
